The Thomas Langdon Family of Hempstead,
Long Island, New York
Our immigrant ancestor, Thomas Langdon, was born in England
and emigrated to the Colonies in the 1640s. He was married to
Isabella, but it is not known whether they were married prior to or
after their arrival in the Colonies. After spending time in New Haven
and Derby, Connecticut, Thomas and his family moved to
Hempstead, Long Island, New York. Many of his descendants still
live in the Long Island, New York, area. Thomas died circa 1666,
and was probably buried in Hempstead, Long Island.
